Fresh Potato Chips
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Vegetable Oil
- 1 Red Bliss or your favorite Potato
- Kosher Salt
- Freshly Ground Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Heat Oil in a home fryer or saucepan to about 300 degrees. While oil is heating, slice Potato in 1/32” slices using a mandolin. When the Oil is up to temperature, carefully add the potato slices to the oil and fry until crisp and golden brown. Remove Chips from the Oil and place on a plate or pan lined with paper towels. Season with Salt and Pepper.
