Our Values
LAURA +
Sustainability
Laura’s mission has always been to connect people everywhere to understand where their food comes from, their vast community and the best ways to “Bring It Home.” Laura is now taking it a step further by inspiring people to live a more sustainable life - whether it be through promoting eco-friendly products, showcasing ways to reduce plastic waste, working with regenerative farmers and more- it is important to show people how making small daily changes can greatly impact the environment.
-
Regenerative Agriculture
Conventional agriculture makes up to 25% of emissions. Regenerative Agriculture takes a more holistic approach to agriculture where rehabilitation and conservation are the core of farming systems. Laura is dedicated to working with farms and brands that incorporate regenerative agriculture.
-
Sustainable Fashion
The fashion industry plays a tremendous role in today’s climate crisis- Laura is working with the people behind the clothes. Partnering with brands committed to making positive sustainable changes, like reducing energy use & carbon emissions, conserving water, using organic cotton & textiles and reducing waste.
-
Sustainable Lifestyle
Sustainability can look different for everyone & there are many ways people can incorporate it into their lifestyles. Through highlighting eco-friendly products to showcasing sustainability tips and tricks, these everyday choices can add up into something greater- making our planet a greener place.
-
Sustainable Travel
Traveling doesn’t have to mean leaving all of the eco-choices at home. Laura is often traveling across the country and choosing sustainable hotels and airlines who are keeping their environmental impact low is important.

Going Green
Partnering with brands that are taking initiative to create a safe, healthy and sustainable world is very important to us. Laura inspires her audience to live a greener lifestyle. By partnering with brands that are taking those steps to reduce their carbon emissions and embrace sustainability, we are helping our audience to reduce their environmental impact.
-
Food Waste
Food waste is the #1 contributor to our landfills and carbon footprint. As a company, we know what it takes to get that food from farm to fork but there is so much more we need to teach. In the U.S. alone 35% of food goes to waste and that's something we, as a community, need to begin to tackle. We are determined to find ways to to help combat food waste and partner with brands who align with this mission.
-
Water Preservation
Bringing it Home does their part in using water responsibly and teaching others to do so in their daily lives, but it's important for us to partner with brands that do so as well. When companies implement water conservation strategies it plays a key part in preserving one of the earth's most valuable resources.
-
Energy Efficiency
Bringing it Home partners with brands that have created initiatives to reduce their carbon emissions and harness sustainable energy sources. These choices help burn fewer fossil fuels resulting in the reduction of greenhouse gases & other air pollutants that in turn will help improve air quality, fight climate change, and promote healthy habitats.
LAURA +
Community
As a purpose-led business, it is important to make a positive impact in the community. As individuals, our choices can be powerful but as a community we have the power to make change. We love working with people who continually strive to make a positive impact on the communities around them.
-
Inclusion & Diversity
We are committed to building a community that celebrates diversity regardless of gender identity, nationality, ethnic background, age, sexual orientation or other aspects of identity.
-
Human Rights
Upholding human rights to ensure that all people we work with are treated with respect is a core priority. It is important that fundamental human rights are upheld for all employees, farmers and farmworkers, and companies we partner with.
