Laura is a passionate storyteller who is vibrant, funny, spontaneous and shows no fear. Her engaging style and likeability has overwhelmingly won the hearts of viewers and the media. Her passion, dedication and hard work in the industry have been recognized with over 6 Emmy nominations, the prestigious James Beard nomination along with various communicator awards, Telly’s and Aurora awards. Currently Laura writes, hosts and produces a 13 episode series that was created by her and her production company M.Entertainment and is broadcast on PBS and CreateTV. Her best advice in the industry came from Clint Eastwood on the set of her first film role as a day player, “do what you love and love what you do” he stated. This is the inspiration of her ongoing career in television. Currently as host and creator of Bringing It Home, Laura McIntosh is our personal guide speaking with each viewer individually about what’s amazing (and important) about people, eating, cooking, growing, traveling and living. Her energy and devotion as a mother, producer, host and 5th generation farmer continues to elevate the show and her work in the industry.

She is a master of multimedia marketing techniques that yields extraordinary results for her numerous Fortune 500 clients. Laura continues to showcase fresh food and cuisine as a lifestyle on her show with the support of such respected companies as Lexus, Gallo, Dole, Fresh Express, and Diamond of California to name a few. One example of her support for “fresh" outside of the television show is seen in a comprehensive advertising campaign for Frito-Lay that broke the world’s record for most Facebook page likes in a 24 hour period (1.9 million).

Laura has traveled and filmed in such places as Spain, Costa Rica, Colombia, Tasmania, Thailand, Alaska, Italy, Germany, China, and Japan. She contributes her time to charitable organizations, and to our troops. Laura traveled to Afghanistan with Chef Robert Irvine, Steve Kaplan, Lou Holtz and other celebrities to help feed 5,000 troops a gourmet American meal.
