Homemade Fig & Plum Puree

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Plum

  • 1 Cup Fig

  • 1tsp Fresh Ginger

  • 2 Star Anise Pods

  • 2 Cinnamon Sticks

  • Pinch of Allspice

  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup

PREPARATION:

In a saucepan add plums and figs and simmer. (you can add a splash of water to help simmer) Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for 7-8 minutes. Once cooled, remove anise pods & cinnamon sticks and transfer to a blender. Add maple syrup and blend until smooth. Once blended, strain through a sieve, press out as  much puree as possible.
