Egg Nog

Ingredients:

  • 12 Each Jumbo Eggs

  • 1/2 Lb Granulated Sugar

  • 1 Qt Whole Milk

  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract

  • 1 Tsp Ground Cinnamon

  • 1 Qt Heavy Cream, lightly whipped

  • Nutmeg, freshly grated for garnish

PREPARATION:

  1. Separate egg yolks from whites; reserve whites.

  2. Beat yolks in a large bowl; gradually add sugar.

  3. Beat until mixture thickens; stir in milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.

  4. Pour into a large punch bowl. Cover and chill for 3-4 hours.

  5. Beat egg white separately, fold into egg yolk mixture.

  6. Fold in whipped cream before serving.

  7. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.
