Ingredients

  • 8 oz White Chocolate
  • 12 Fresh Large Strawberries, washed and dried
  • 8 oz Dark Chocolate
  • Toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Begin by melting the white chocolate using a bain-marie (double boiler) setup.
  2. Gently dip the strawberries into the melted white chocolate, ensuring they are evenly coated. Place the coated strawberries on a non-stick sheet pan and then refrigerate them until the white chocolate sets.
  3. Now, melt the dark chocolate using the bain-marie method once again.
  4. Take the strawberries that have been dipped in white chocolate and carefully dip them in the melted dark chocolate. Coat both sides of each strawberry to create a "tuxedo" appearance.
  5. With the artistic touch of a true chocolatier, use a toothpick to create the finishing touches. Use some of the dark chocolate to craft buttons and a bowtie on the white chocolate-dipped portion of each strawberry.
  6. Place the adorned strawberries on a cookie sheet covered with waxed paper and let them chill in the refrigerator until they're ready to make their grand appearance.
