Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp Sunnyside Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Sunnyside Ground Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Sunnyside Ground Cardamom
  • 1 Christopher Ranch Garlic Clove, minced
  • 8 Sunsweet Dried Plums, halved
  • 2 tbsp Sunnyside Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • 10 cups Mixed Salad Greens
  • 2 Sunnyside Chicken Breasts, grilled, cut into 1/2-inch slices
  • 1/2 cup Cherry Tomatoes
  • 8 pieces Hormel Ham, sliced, cut into wide strips
  • 4 oz Goat Cheese
  • 1 cup Marie Callender's Croutons

Instructions

  1. Cardamom, minced Garlic, and halved Dried Plums.
  2. Place the saucepan over high heat and bring the mixture to a boil. Stir well, then remove from heat. Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
  3. Remove the Dried Plums from the mixture and set them aside for later use.
  4. Pour the cooled Vinegar Mixture into a small bowl and add Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Season with Salt to taste. Whisk the mixture together until it's emulsified.
  5. Divide the Mixed Salad Greens evenly between four serving plates.
  6. Arrange the Grilled Chicken slices on top of the greens.
  7. Add the reserved Dried Plums, Cherry Tomatoes, strips of Ham, and crumbled Goat Cheese on top of the chicken.
  8. Drizzle the Balsamic Dressing over the salad, evenly distributing it.
  9. Garnish the salad with Croutons.
