Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 ounces tequila

  • 5 limes

  • 4 oz triple sec or cointreau

  • 1/2 jalapeño

  • 16 ounces frozen pineapple

  • crushed ice, for blending

  • salt or chili lime seasoning, for rimming the glass

METHOD

  1. In a blender add tequila, lime juice, triple sec, jalapeño slices and frozen pineapple. Blend for 30 seconds. Add 1 cup of ice, or more as needed, and blend until fully pureed.

  2. Rim glasses with a cut lime and then dip the rim into salt or chili lime spice.

  3. Pour blended margarita into glasses and garnish with jalapeño slices and lime wheels.
