Cherry Soda

Serves: 4 people

  • 1 Cup pitted cherries

  • 1 Cup simple syrup

  • 2 Limes, juiced

  • Club Soda

SIMPLE SYRUP

  • 4 Cups sugar

  • 8 Cups of water

Directions:

  1. In a blender mix cherries and simple syrup until smooth, strain, add juice of two limes and chill. Will keep for two days.

  2. Place 2 ounces cherry mix in a large glass,

  3. Top with 6 ounces club soda.  Be careful, this will fizz up. 

  4. Stir, add ice and serve.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SIMPLE SYRUP:

  1. Mix water and sugar together in pan, heat until it comes to a boil and the liquid is clear.

  2. Store covered for future use. Will keep in fridge for quite a while
