Cayenne Plum Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 4 Ripe black or purple plums

  • 1 cup water

  • 1/3 cup honey

  • 2 to 3 cayenne peppers chopped this will give you low to medium heat (*add more if desired)

PREPARATION:

  1. Clean, pit and slice your plums and place in a heavy pot. Turn heat to high and let the plums start to cook. Watch them so they don’t burn*

  2. Once the juice starts running from the plums add the water and peppers, let the mixture come to a boil. Let boil on medium heat for 5 min stirring occasionally.

  3. Turn the heat to low and add the honey then slowly bring back to a boil and turn off heat.

  4. Blend ingredients together and then strain. Pushing out all the juice.
