Almond Oatmeal Apple Crisp

Directions

 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

 

  1. In a medium bowl combine all ingredients but butter.  Using fingers, mix in butter.  Form  into small balls/chunks.

 

  1. For the filling, combine all the ingredients but the apples.  Toss apples in spiced liquid.

 

  1. Layer apples into a 13 x 9 buttered glass baking dish.  Top with almond oatmeal crisp. 

 

Kielbasa Stuffed Apples

Slice apples in half one third of the way down.  Hollow out the apples and keep the inners.  Chop insides of apples and add to a bowl.  Add 1 can Bush's Grilling Beans, chop and add Kielbasa.  Chop and add 1/2 an onion.  Mix together bowl and stuf inside of the apple.  Place the top on and wrap in foil.  Grill for 15 minutes.

 

Tree Top Applesauce

Additional way to use Apples and Treetop Applesauce:

*For breakfast or a snack, mix apple dices or chunky applesauce into Low- Fat Plain or Vanilla Yogurt, and season with a dash of Cinnamon and Nutmeg.

Grate an Unpeeled Apple into Natural-style applesauce to add texture and natural sweetness.

Add chopped, canned Apple slices to pancake batter; serve cooked apple pancakes with warmed maple syrup mixed with applesauce.

Whip together Applesauce and Light Margarine, and serve with muffins, breads or rolls.
