Classic Waldorf

INGREDIENTS

  • 2oz Rye Whiskey

  • 3/4oz Sweet Vermouth

  • 1/4oz Absinthe

  • 1 dash Angostura Bitters

METHOD

  1. Rinse a mixing glass with absinthe by tilting the glass until the sides are coated and discard the excess absinthe.

  2. Add Whiskey, Sweet Vermouth and bitters.

  3. Fill the glass with ice cubes and stir for about 30 seconds.

  4. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

  5. Optional: Garnish with a lemon peel.
